    Jharkhand encounter: 3 Naxals killed in gunfight in Gumla district; police recover weapons

    In Jharkhand's Gumla district, a gunfight between security forces and the banned Maoist splinter group JJMP resulted in the deaths of three Maoists. The encounter took place in a forest near Kechki village, following a tip-off about the presence of active JJMP members. Authorities recovered weapons, and the DGP stated the goal to eliminate Maoists from the state by the end of the year.
