    'Charade at Pakistan’s behest': India calls arbitration court under Indus treaty 'illegal'; rejects its authority

The government emphasized that the court's formation violated the 1960 treaty, deeming its proceedings and decisions void. Furthermore, India has placed the treaty in abeyance until Pakistan ceases cross-border terrorism.
